First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday urged the citizens to celebrate the New Year responsibly and refrain from aerial firing, as “senseless shooting” claimed innocent lives every year.

“As we bid farewell to this year and welcome 2026, let’s remember to celebrate responsibly. Aerial firing costs innocent lives every year,” the first lady wrote on her X timeline.

She said that a senseless shooting could turn moments of joy into tragedy, urging the people to enjoy the festivities without risking the lives of others.

“Be responsible and celebrate safely,” First Lady Aseefa added.
