Security forces kill four India-sponsored terrorists in Panjgur: ISPR
Security forces killed four India-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on December 26 after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khawarij.
The ISPR said troops engaged the militant hideout, leading to an exchange of fire in which four “Indian-sponsored Khawarij were sent to hell.”
No casualties among security personnel were reported.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the site, the statement said, adding that the terrorists were involved in multiple attacks in the area.
The ISPR said sanitisation operations were continuing to clear the area of any remaining Khawarij.
Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies remain engaged in counterterrorism operations under the framework of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, the ISPR added.
