Cooler days ahead for Karachi as mercury set to fall
Temperatures in Karachi will begin to decline from tomorrow (Tuesday), a senior meteorologist has said.
Chief Meteorologist Sindh Ameer Haider, however, said there is no chance of rainfall in the metropolis over the next 10 days.
Referring to foggy conditions in Karachi on Sunday, Ameer Haider said fog was a common occurrence in Karachi due to high humidity and the absence of wind, which caused moisture to settle on the ground in the form of fog.
He said there is no likelihood of fog in Karachi over the next 10 days, adding that temperatures will remain between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius until December 31.
The chief meteorologist said Karachi will experience pleasant weather during the last week of December, while the first two weeks of January are expected to be cold.
