The Pakistani Under-19 team defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 70 runs to qualify for the semi-finals of U-19 Asia Cup in Dubai on Tuesday.

The national team scored 240 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the group’s last encounter.

In reply, the UAE team was dismissed for 171 runs.

Ahmed Hussain played a brilliant innings of 65 runs, while Samir Minhas scored 44 runs.

Abdul Subhan showed excellent bowling and took 4 wickets.

The semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup will be played on Friday.
