The price of 24 karat gold per tola witnessed a decrease of Rs4,000 on Tuesday and was sold at Rs450,862 against its sale at Rs454,862 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs3,429 to Rs386,541 from Rs389,970, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold fell by Rs3,143 to Rs354,342 from Rs357,485.

The prices of silver, however, remained unchanged as the price of 24 karat silver per tola stayed at Rs6,532 and the price of 10 grams of 24 karat silver remained stable at Rs5,600.

In the international market, the price of gold declined by $40 to $4,285 per ounce, whereas the price of silver remained unchanged at $62.60 per ounce.
