Gold prices fall in global and local markets
Gold prices continued to fluctuate on Wednesday, with both global and local markets recording a fresh decline, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The association said a fall in international rates pushed down the local price of gold by Rs1,200 per tola, bringing it to Rs440,662.
The price of 10 grams also fell by Rs1,029, reaching Rs377,796.
In the international market, gold slipped by $12 per ounce, trading at $4,207.
A day earlier, domestic gold prices had also dropped by Rs1,900 per tola, marking a continued downward trend.
