London court orders Adil Raja to issue public apology, pay heavy damages

Judge blocks right of appeal, warns him against future misconduct after ruling against his false claims

The legal pressure on Adil Raja tightened further after the London High Court ordered him to issue a public apology and pay significant financial penalties over what the court described as false and baseless claims.

Justice Richard Spearman issued the order, directing Raja to publish an unconditional apology on all his social media accounts.

The apology must remain visible for 28 days. The court also ordered him to pay £50,000 in damages and €260,000 in legal costs, a combined amount exceeding Rs100 million, by December 22.

Justice Spearman further warned Raja to refrain from “disruptive or harmful conduct” in the future.

Citing the misleading and fabricated nature of the material presented by him, the court denied Raja the right to appeal.

Raja, who had long expressed confidence in the UK legal system, failed to secure any relief despite legal representation from his wife and several barristers.
