Gold became significantly costlier on Thursday as both domestic and international prices recorded sharp increases.

According to market data, the per tola price of gold rose by Rs3,000, reaching Rs444,462. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams climbed by Rs2,572, bringing it to Rs381,054.

In global trade, gold gained $30, pushing the international price to $4,221 per ounce.
