Karachi Zoo has welcomed a joyful addition with the birth of three healthy African lion cubs, zoo officials announced on Tuesday.

The cubs have been moved to a separate enclosure with their mother, who is also in good health and receiving dedicated care.

The Mayor of Karachi has instructed special monitoring of the newborns.

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) said the cubs will not be displayed to the public immediately. They will gradually be introduced for viewing after clearance by the veterinary team.

Officials noted that wildlife conservation measures at the zoo have been intensified, aiming to ensure the safety and well-being of both the lion family and other animals.
