Federal Constitutional Court to set up registries in all four provinces
The Federal Constitutional Court has decided to establish its registries in all four provinces as part of its structural transition.
Justice Aamer Farooq stated that the court was currently in a transitional phase, during which provincial registries would be established to enhance access and efficiency.
He added that these registries would be connected to the court’s principal seat via video link.
The judge noted that video-link facilities would be available at all registries to streamline proceedings and reduce delays.
Winter break
Separately, the court issued a notification announcing its winter recess.
The Federal Constitutional Court will remain on holiday from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
However, its offices will remain open during this period to hear urgent and fixed cases.
The court is scheduled to reopen on January 5, 2026.
