Sonu Nigam’s AI duet goes viral
Singer Sonu Nigam is an Indian singer has gone viral after a clip from his recent Kashmir concert showed him performing an AI-based duet with Mohammed Rafi at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convocation Complex (SKICC).
He recreate Rafi’s voice use artificial intelligence, to get a tribute that left the audience emotion.
A fan shared the video on social media, and its quickly gone viral and gained attention.
Viewers praised the mix of nostalgia and technology, with many saying the moment felt like “technology becoming pure emotion.”
After the concert, Sonu Nigam told The Indian Express that AI should be used to support creativity, not replace it. He said the human soul behind music must remain irreplaceable.
The show, held against the backdrop of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan mountains, was the first major event in the region since the Pahalgam attack.
