Pakistani mountaineer Asad Ali Memon has successfully scaled Carstensz Pyramid, the highest peak in Oceania, located on New Guinea Island, completing the world-renowned Seven Summits challenge, climbing the tallest mountains on each of the seven continents.

After seven years of perseverance and expeditions across seven continents, Asad achieved what only a few climbers in the world have managed.

His accomplishment not only adds a proud chapter to Pakistan’s mountaineering legacy but also symbolises national grit and ambition on the world stage.

The Seven Summits challenge involves conquering the tallest mountain on each continent, a goal Asad Memon has now triumphantly achieved, raising Pakistan’s flag from Asia to Antarctica.

In a video message from the summit of Oceania’s highest mountain, Asad said, “I am standing on the highest peak of the seventh continent. The mission that began seven years ago has finally been completed. I have raised my flag and I proudly say, Pakistan Zindabad — long live Pakistan!”

Expressing gratitude to his supporters, Asad vowed to continue achieving new milestones for his country.

“I’ve fulfilled my dream, and I request everyone to keep supporting future Pakistani climbers the same way you supported me,” he said.
