During a terrorist attack, in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, two police officers were martyred in a firing incident by unidentified assailants near the Yadgar checkpoint.

According to the police, the martyred officers were identified as Gul Muhammad and Shehzad Khan, they were deployed at the Yadgar police checkpoint.

He further said that the attack occurred when the officers were heading to the nearby shop.

The attack occurred as the officers were on their way to a nearby shop, where armed terrorists ambushed them.

Following the incident, attackers fled the scene on motorcycle. Security forces have also cordoned off the area. They have also launched a search operation.

The bodies of the martyred have been transferred to Kulachi hospital. Police has started investigation into the incident.
