In Bannu, terrorists attacked a police post on Wednesday morning, detonating its gate. The explosion was followed by an exchange of gunfire between police and the assailants.

At least two police officers were killed, and one sustained injuries during the gunfight. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.

The terror attack coincided with a tragic bombing targeting a school bus near Zero Point in Khuzdar. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least three children and two adults, with several others injured, according to initial reports.

Officials believe this attack is part of a wider effort to incite unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Yasir Iqbal, the administrator of Khuzdar district, informed Reuters that the bus was en route to a school located within an army cantonment.
