The Clock Towers Center in Makkah has unveiled the world’s largest barbershop, designed to meet international standards and provide a quick and efficient grooming experience for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

This initiative is part of a larger plan to enhance service quality in the area surrounding the Grand Mosque, focusing on the development of a central barbershop zone.

The facility boasts 170 chairs and has the capacity to serve over 15,000 pilgrims each day during its initial phase, with each grooming service averaging just three minutes.

This high level of efficiency highlights the exceptional standards of operation.

This new development is aligned with a broader vision to prepare Makkah for future demands and integrate with significant nearby projects such as the Masar project, Jabal Omar, and Thakher Makkah.

Authorities in Makkah introduced a complimentary luggage storage service for Umrah pilgrims, enhancing their travel experience during this spiritual journey in December.

However, last year Saudi government announced that people going for Hajj from Pakistan will now have to pay for Aab-e-Zam Zam when they bring it back to their country.
