Fire breaks out in Soldier Bazaar, dozens of bikes reduced to ashes
A fire broke out in a pile of motorcycles parked outside the Soldier Bazaar police station in Karachi, resulting in the destruction of over 50 motorcycles.
According to police officials, the fire originated in a nearby garbage pile and quickly spread to the motorcycles. A fire brigade unit was able to extinguish the blaze.
The SHO (Station House Officer) of Soldier Bazaar police station stated that all the affected motorcycles were unclaimed and considered abandoned. He emphasized that none of the impounded motorcycles, which are stored inside the station, were damaged.
He explained that the fire was contained to a pile of old motorcycles and rubbish outside the station. The incident is under investigation.
