In Saudi Arabia, a group of Pakistani youth celebrated the New Year by cutting a cake 100 feet underwater and welcoming 2025 with prayers for the prosperity of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In the coastal city of Jeddah, Pakistani youths Yahya Ashfaq, Umar Jan, Haji Usman, and Osama Jan descended into the ocean to mark the occasion. They cut a cake underwater and offered prayers for the development and well-being of their homeland and their host country.

Yahya Ashfaq, known for his unique celebrations, has been diving to celebrate not only the New Year but also various national and religious festivals for several years. He has set numerous records while showcasing Pakistan’s name abroad.
