In response to the rumors about her nationality, she has issued a clarification.
Zara Dar, known for advocating women’s participation in science and technology, made headlines when she announced her decision to abandon her PhD for a career on OnlyFans a platform notorious for adult content where young individuals share explicit photos and videos for profit.
Following her entry into this space, Zara went viral on social media. Recently, she took to the platform X (formerly Twitter) to address the misinformation circulating about her since she revealed her decision to leave her studies.
In her post, she stated, “Since I made the video about leaving my PhD to work for OnlyFans, I have seen numerous posts spreading incorrect information about me.”
Zara clarified that she has not given any formal interviews on the matter but wanted to share some facts. She revealed that her name is actually “Darcy,” which she shortens to “Dar.”
Denying claims of her being Pakistani, she said, “With all due respect, I would like to clarify that I am not Pakistani; I am American and grew up here.
My family background includes American, Iranian, European, Middle Eastern, and Indian ancestries.“
