Passport delivery time cut to 20 days
Passport applicants can now expect a much shorter wait for their normal passport delivery. Citizens will receive their passports in just 20 days, eliminating the lengthy delays that have affected the process for several months.
This improvement follows the installation of new printing machines, increased staffing, and a 24-hour printing schedule.
Saeed Abbasi, Director of Immigration and Passports for the South Region, confirmed that these enhancements have enabled the timely delivery of passports.
“For a long time, passport delivery faced delays of several months, but these new developments allow us to provide passports on schedule,” Abbasi stated.
