US embassy launches English language training for teachers in Pakistan

Educators from Rawalpindi district have been selected

The US Embassy has started training English teachers in Pakistan given the high demand and to enhance global competitiveness.

The aim is for teachers to improve their skills so they can effectively teach their students, according to officials.

The Regional English Language Office of the embassy has initiated this teacher training programme, starting with educators from the Rawalpindi district.

Under the Small Grants 2024 initiative, the training aims to equip teachers with proficiency in English, enabling them to better educate their students in the language.

A significant number of male and female teachers participated in the training programme at the Quaid-e-Azam Academy.
