Renowned public speaker and scholar Dr Zakir Naik completed a bungee jump from over 165 feet (50 metres) in Jinja, Uganda as the video went viral.

The jump occurred at an adventure site along the River Nile, where Dr Naik was secured with safety harnesses and under professional supervision. A series of photos captured his preparation, the exhilarating moment of freefall and the breathtaking suspension above the river’s flowing waters.

He shared images of his bungee jumping experience on his official Facebook account.

Jinja, known as the “adventure capital of East Africa,” is famous for its array of outdoor activities, including bungee jumping, white-water rafting, and various water sports.

While touring Africa, Dr Naik has been documenting his journey on social media. He also shared moments from his visit to Lukalu, Uganda, where he interacted with local wildlife, including zebras and impalas.

After his activities in Uganda, the scholar announced an upcoming tour in Kenya, with events scheduled in Nairobi and Mombasa from December 6 to 8 and December 19 to 29.
