PMLN leader Siddique-ul-Farooq passes away
Siddique-ul-Farooq, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has passed away. Family sources confirmed his death, stating that he had been suffering from a prolonged illness, including kidney complications.
His funeral prayers are scheduled for Monday.
Farooq served as the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board during the tenure of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Recently, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the parliamentary leader in the Senate representing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, visited Farooq at his home.
He conveyed the Prime Minister’s concern for Farooq’s health and assured him of all possible assistance with his medical treatment, presenting a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the Prime Minister.
