Cold, dry weather conditions expected across Pakistan
The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country for next seven days.
The PMD has predicted rain and thunderstorms, along with snowfall in hilly areas, are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, northern Balochistan, central and upper Punjab, and Islamabad on Monday, December 2. Cold and dry weather is likely in other regions, with shallow fog in isolated Punjab and upper Sindh areas during the morning and night.
On December 3, Tuesday, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across most of the country. However, isolated rain and thunderstorms, along with snowfall in mountainous areas, are likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Smog and fog in patches may occur in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night.
The cold and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country, with smog and fog likely in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night on Wednesday.
On December 5, Thursday, mainly cold and dry conditions are expected again, with smog and fog in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night.

Weather to remain dry in most parts of Pakistan, predicts PMD
The weather will remain mainly cold and dry, while Gilgit-Baltistan may experience partly cloudy skies. Smog and fog are expected in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night on Friday.
