Gold prices in Pakistan surge for third consecutive day
The price of gold in Pakistan saw a significant increase for the third straight day, aligning with global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,700 per tola, reaching Rs278,000.
Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,172, bringing it to Rs238,340.
In the international market, gold prices also surged, climbing $37 to reach $2,668 per ounce, plus an additional premium of $20.

Silver prices in the local market similarly saw a rise, increasing by Rs200 to settle at Rs3,450 per tola.
This recent trend reflects the ongoing fluctuations in the global gold market, impacting local prices significantly.
