Imran arrested in new case after Toshakhana bail
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested in connection with a case registered at New Town police station, Islamabad.
The case, filed under various sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act, pertains to incidents of arson, rioting, assault, and resisting police.
An investigation team, headed by the SSP Investigation, is currently pursuing the case.
He is scheduled to be presented before a court tomorrow for a request for physical remand, according to a Rawalpindi police spokesperson.

The arrest comes hours after Khan was given bail in the new Toshakhana case by the Islamabad High Court.
Speculation had begun about Khan’s possible release after the bail. However, the release is unlikely as he is still implicated in multiple cases related to May 9.
