A shootout occurred on Sharah-e-Faisal in Karachi late last night at approximately 3:00 AM, involving two vehicles. Two security guards were injured in the crossfire.

According to police, the incident stemmed from a dispute over a girl. A young woman was traveling with a friend in a vehicle when her boyfriend pursued them. A shootout ensued.

The boyfriend, described as an influential young man, attempted to stop the vehicle by firing shots. The security guards in the boyfriend’s luxury vehicle responded with gunfire, as did the security guards in the other vehicle.

Following the incident, the young woman fled the scene but was later apprehended. Both occupants of the other vehicle, identified as Darian and Mustafa, were also taken into custody.

The two injured security guards are also in custody, and police have confiscated four weapons from them.

Airport police stated that a case has not yet been filed but will be registered with police as complainant.
