Ranveer Singh is set to star in Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film, a high-budget project that also features Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

The announcement was made by the stars themselves on social media a few months ago. Recently, a new report claims that Ranveer will be paired opposite former child star Sara Arjun, sparking controversy over their 20-year age difference.

While official details about the female lead have not been confirmed, a report from Peeping Moon states that 19-year-old Sara Arjun has been cast as the love interest of Ranveer’s character.

Sara, who has a strong background in South Indian cinema, is recognized for her role as the younger version of Aishwarya Rai’s character in “Ponniyin Selvan” (2022-23).

According to Peeping Moon, “Although her role is described as relatively small in this male-dominated narrative, this film marks her transition to a leading heroine after years of being known as a child actress in Hindi and Telugu films.”

However, the pairing has received backlash from fans due to the significant age gap, with Sara being 19 and Ranveer 39.
