Royal Navy helicopter crashes in the English Channel
The Royal Navy has reported that one service member was killed after a helicopter was forced to crash into the English Channel during a training exercise.
The incident involved a Merlin Mk4 helicopter that was conducting night flying exercises with HMS Queen Elizabeth near Dorset.
In a statement, the Navy expressed deep sadness over the loss, confirming that a full investigation will be conducted. Fortunately, there were no other fatalities or serious injuries reported.
