According to NHMP North Zone spokesman Muhammad Saqib, teams made up of Assistant Commissioners, Motorway Police, and Food Authority officials inspected various locations on the M-1, M-2, Saat Expressway, and Hazara Expressway.

During these checks, they found expired products at multiple outlets, which were discarded immediately.

Several outlets were also sealed for overcharging, and the total fines imposed amounted to Rs 350,000.

Saqib emphasized that strict measures are being enforced against violators on the motorways to ensure that customers receive hygienic food.
