Gold prices drop in national, international markets
The gold prices has declined in line with the drop in the in Pakistan and international gold rate.
In the local Pakistani market, the gold price per tola stood at Rs260,000, reflecting a reduction of Rs200.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs222,908, registering a decrease of Rs172, according to the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In contrast, the gold price on Saturday had increased by Rs2,500, closing at Rs260,200.
The international gold rate also dipped on Monday, with the rate standing at $2,502 per ounce (including a $20 premium), a decrease of $5 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.

The local price per tola climbed by Rs1,200, reaching Rs257,700 on August 13.
The price of gold per tola stood at Rs257,400 and the silver rates in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,850 per tola on August 15.
