Travelers from the UAE who violate the terms of their visit visas will now be stopped at Pakistani airports, the Pakistani government has announced.

The new policy aims to crack down on foreign visitors who overstay or work illegally in Pakistan. Under the rules, immigration officials will block the departure of any UAE nationals found to be in breach of their visa conditions.

“This is an important step to ensure the integrity of our visa system and protect the rights of foreign visitors,” said Interior Minister Ijaz Shah. “Those who violate the terms of their visa will be stopped from leaving the country until the issue is resolved.”

The announcement comes amid growing concerns over illegal immigration and overstaying in Pakistan.

Officials say the new airport checks will help authorities better monitor and enforce visa compliance.
