A Chinese citizen got severely injured after his fellow national shot at him in a guest house in Sector G-13 of Islamabad on Saturday, sources within police said.

The incident occurred when a scuffle broke out between the two Chinese nationals at the guest house, they added.

The injured foreigner sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was shifted to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.

The shooter managed to flee the scene after the incident. Police teams from the Sihala Police Station rushed to the location and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect.

Investigations are under way to determine the exact cause of the dispute between the two Chinese individuals.
