Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is in trouble for partnering with Pakistani promoter Rehan Siddiqui from Houston.

The August 2024 event in Houston has stirred controversy due to his alleged connections with Pakistani intelligence and being banned by the Indian Government.

Social media user Sunanda Vashisht sharing of a photo of the event poster featuring Madhuri and Rehan has added fuel to fire.

The timing of the announcement after India’s Independence Day only made matters worse as it became more sensitive than before. Twitterati urged the actress to withdraw from the event immediately, citing these reasons, among others.

For several years, Indian police have been keeping Rehan Siddiqui’s activities in check.

A letter written by BJP Minister Kishan Reddy four years back revealed that Siddiqui had been officially blacklisted by the Indian government. Despite this fact, Madhuri didn’t hesitate to work together with him, which made her fans and the public express their dismay.

There have been no comments made so far by Mrs. Nene regarding these issues, which means that people are eagerly waiting for her reaction, especially considering the fact that they are questioning their association with one another.

This is not the first time criticism against someone has arisen; in the past month alone, she once posted (although later deleted) a tweet condemning Israel’s missile attack on Rafah, thus drawing criticism from different quarters.

It should also be noted that she recently she produced Marathi movie called “Panchak” and is still shooting for “Dance Deewane,” among other things.
