Zack Snyder reveals Henry Cavill’s Superman was supposed to time travel
Director Zack Snyder has disclosed new details about his original vision for the conclusion of Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Superman in the DC Universe.
Snyder revealed that his intended storyline would have seen Superman fall victim to the Anti-Life Equation, leading to his destruction.

This time-traveling ability for Cavill’s Superman character was a key detail that Snyder had envisioned to complete his trilogy and depict the hero’s transformation into a guardian figure who would ultimately restore his humanity.
