Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has come out in support of his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. This follows reports that suggested Sinha’s family, particularly the father, may not attend the wedding ceremony.

Sinha has categorically stated that he is proud of Sonakshi and will be present at the wedding to bless the couple.

He dismissed the rumors of any tensions within the family, saying “it’s none of your business” and advised those spreading the rumors to “mind their own business.”

Sinha expressed his happiness over Sonakshi’s choice of partner, saying Sonakshi and Zaheer make a good-looking pair. He referred to himself as the “pillar of her strength” and her “real kavach (armour),” emphasizing his unwavering support for his daughter.

The wedding is scheduled to take place on June 23 under the Special Marriage Act. Earlier, a wedding invitation with voice notes from the couple had gone viral, leading to speculations about the event.
