Gold prices remain stable in Pakistan
In a sign of stability in the precious metals market, gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Monday, with the yellow metal holding steady in the international market as well.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola in the local market stood at Rs240,300, unchanged from Saturday. Similarly, the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs206,019.
The international rate of gold also remained stable at $2,326 per ounce, with a premium of $20, the association reported.
Moreover, silver rates in the domestic market held steady at Rs2,820 per tola, providing relief to consumers amidst the prevailing economic conditions.
This comes after a slight decrease in the gold price per tola by Rs1,400 on Saturday, indicating the volatility in the precious metals market.
