A tragic jeep accident in Shangla district has claimed the lives of eight people, while two others sustained injuries.

Rescue officials reported that the jeep, traveling from Bisham Khawaza Khel road towards Pagori in the Peerabad area, plunged into a deep ravine. The incident took place near the district headquarters of Alpuri, in the UC Peerabad.

The accident resulted in the deaths of eight individuals from the same family who were traveling in the vehicle.

Two people were critically injured in the accident, with one reported to be in a critical condition. Rescue, relief teams, and local residents transported the deceased and injured to the hospital.

Hospital authorities confirmed that eight bodies and two injured individuals were brought to the hospital following the jeep accident.

Local police stated that a man named Syed Al-Wahab was traveling with his family when the accident occurred.
