Veteran lollywood filmmaker Sheikh Akram passes away
Veteran Lollywood filmmaker Sheikh Akram passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday. He was suffering from kidney and diabetes-related ailments for some time.
Sheikh Akram had produced numerous Lollywood films and had also been involved in the production of Pashto films in recent years.
He had also worked as a producer with acclaimed directors like Syed Noor and Masood Butt.
Some of Sheikh Akram’s most popular films include Yaraana, Ghairat, Munafiq, Zindan, Medium Rani, and others.
He was a highly respected figure in the Lollywood film industry and his passing is a major loss for the Pakistani cinema.
