Mother of Pakistani teen raises concerns over her son’s death
**The death of the 17-year-old Pakistani boy, Ibrahim Muhammad, has left her mother unanswered with many questions, indicating a sense of disbelief. **
In an interview with the Khaleej Times, the mother expressed her ongoing struggle to comprehend the loss of her son.
She recalled the days she spent searching for him, stating that she ran around the area in a desperate attempt to find any trace of him.
While the police were conducting their investigation, she also took it upon herself to follow leads and tips from people who claimed to have seen someone resembling her son.
“Every day I would run around this area looking for him like a mad person,” she said.
“I wish I had known it then. It would have shortened my ordeal. I am not sure why there was such a long delay between his death and being notified about it,” she stated.
It was on the day of Ibrahim’s supposed board exam that the boy’s father called her.
“I was elated. I thought my son was alive and well. He gave me the address of the building. I rushed to the site, but when I got there, everyone was staring at me. I couldn’t understand why. It was then that the police told me he was dead,” she added.
Ibrahim’s death impacted his younger brother, who was struggling to cope with the loss.
The two siblings were close, being only a year and a half apart in age.
