Days after losing his white-ball captaincy to Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi posted a cryptic message on social media that might be a hint to what the pacer is thinking these days.

Afridi posted a video of a lion on his Instagram story, saying, “Never ever put me in a position, where I have to show you how cruel and ruthless I can be.”

“Don’t test my patience because I might be the kindest and sweetest person you’ve ever met but once I reach my limit you’ll see me do the things that no one thought I was capable of doing.”

The post comes after Afridi was relieved of his duties as captain of the Pakistan T20 team while attending a training camp in Kakul.

The matter took a turn for the worse after Afridi distanced himself from a statement in his name published by PCB, promising to ‘back’ Babar as a matter of duty.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had rushed to Kakul to diffuse the crisis in the presence of both Azam and Afridi.

Sources chad claimed that any confusion after Afridi’s statement denial had been removed and the former captain was shown shaking hands with Naqvi in a picture released by the PCB.
