The man, identified as Hamid Ali, was severely injured by dacoits after being shot in Shadman Town.

According to Ali’s brother, onlookers refused to help the bleeding man until a rickshaw driver took him to the hospital.

However, Ali succumbed to his wounds and did not survive.

Hamid Ali had retired after working in a security company and was now associated catering and construction. He lived in North Karachi.

He leaves behind four children

At least 51 people have killed in street crime and related incidents since the beginning of this year in Karachi.

Karachi’s citizens and traders staged a protest at the Super Highway over the rising crime in the city. The road blockage caused massive traffic buildups on both sides of the road.
