Security forces eliminated four terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations, the terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire.

ISPR said that three out of the four terrorists have been identified as Mustafa, Qismat Ullah and Islam Ud Din.

“The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists,” ISPR added.

The statement also said that a clearance operation was carried out in the area to eliminate any other terrorists still hiding.
