Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship collided with an Indian fishing boat that had strayed in international waters, martyred one Pakistani soldier and two Indian fishermen missing.

The Indian fishermen tried to escape towards Indian waters despite warnings and instructions from the PMSA.

As the fishing boat tried to escape, it collided with the PMSA ship. The boat was knocked over and leading to seven fisherman and the boarding party falling into the sea.

The authorities managed to rescue five out of seven fishermen. The search operation for the missing two fishermen is still underway.

In the operation to rescue the fisherman, PMSA sailor Rehan embraced martyrdom. His funeral prayers have now been offered.
