Actress Yumna Zaidi made her big screen debut with Nayab on Friday. The movie also stars legendary actor Jawed Sheikh and drama star Fawad Khan.

“The film has entertainment, love, relationships, struggle, dreams, and goals. It has everything,” she said at the movie premier on Thursday in Karachi.

The Parizaad actor has played the role of a girl tackling social and family issues to make her place in the national cricket team.

Sheikh has played the role of Zaidi’s father in the movie while Fawad Khan has played the role of her brother.

Khan said that everyone has put a lot of effort into the movie and expressed hope that the film would inspire others.

“The story of Nayab revolves around a girl crazy for cricket and who wants to be part of the national cricket team. The father of the girl is against her passion, however, her brother gives her full support,” movie director Umair Nasir said.
