The jewellers association in Pakistan has announced the latest gold rates for December 27, indicating an increase of Rs300 per tola or 11 grams in the price.

All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said on Tuesday that the rate of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs258 and now the price stands at 1 lac 88 thousands 272 rupees.

After the price change, one tola of gold in the country has become 2 lac 19 thousand 600 rupees.

Globally, before the U.S. weekend holiday, spot gold was up 0.4% at $2,052.69 per ounce, its highest level since Dec. 4, putting it on course for a 1.7% weekly gain.
