Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja said that the electoral body is well aware of all its constitutional and legal responsibilities and fully prepared to conduct transparent elections.

Sikandar Sultan Raja said that the election schedule will be given in a few days and assured that the polling will be held on February 8, 2024.

On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, he said that the Election Commission is busy preparing for the general elections. The printing and transmission of the final electoral rolls has been completed while the notification of DRO, RO, and Assistant Officers will be done in a few days.

He said that the people should exercise their right to vote for the bright future of the country and cooperate with the Election Commission.

The Chief Election Commissioner said that the people should remember that they have the power to vote in their hands and use the vote keeping in mind the future of themselves and their children because the election process is also the right of the people and is also a national duty.
