The most loved TV cast of the famous Indian show CID has broken apart as actor Dinesh Phadnis has died after multiple organs failure.

Dinesh Phadnis died on Tuesday in Mumbai’s Tunga Hospital, India Today reported. His co-star Dayanand Shetty also known as Daya confirmed the death of his 57-years-old colleague.

Dinesh, who played Fredricks’s character in CID had been suffering from severe liver damage and after that other organs of his body also failed to work.

Dinesh Phadnis became well-known for his depiction of Fredericks in the television series “CID.” Actor Shivaji Satam played ACP Pradyuman in the show, to which he devoted over two decades.

One of India’s longest-running television shows, “CID,” debuted in 1998. Apart from his part in ‘CID,’ Dinesh Phadnis also had a brief appearance in the mainstream television program ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’
