Pakistan women’s cricket team secures historic T20I series against New Zealand

The Pakistan women’s cricket team won the T20 series for the first time against the Kiwis by winning a historic victory in New Zealand.

In the second T-20 cricket match of the three-match series at Dunedin, Pakistan women’s team beat New Zealand women by 10 runs.

Batting first, Pakistan women scored 137 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted twenty overs.

In reply, New Zealand women could score only 127 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Aliya Riaz remained unbeaten on 32 runs while Muneeba Ali scored 35 runs.

In reply, New Zealand scored 127 runs for 7 wickets. Fatima Sana took 3 wickets and Sadia Iqbal took 2 wickets.

The third and final T20I of the series will be played on December 9.
