Nayyer Bokhari appointed PPP secretary general after Farhatullah Babar’s resignation
President of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Asif Ali Zardari has appointed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari as secretary general of the party after Farhatullah Babar resigned from the post.
Babar’s resignation was revealed by Zardari in an interview with Hamid Mir on his show Capital Talk which was aired on Geo News on November 23.
While the party leadership has accepted his resignation, the senior leader would continue to serve the party on human rights issues.
The newly appointed secretary general is also part of a committee constituted by the party leadership to engage politicians.
He along with Qamar Zaman Kaira, Faisal Karim Kundi, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, and Sajid Toori are member of the committee to hold dialogues with the political personalities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
For Sindh, Saeed Ghani and Nasir Hussain Shah and for Balochistan Chengez Khan Jamali, Rozi Khan Kakar and Sabir Ali Baloch are the members of the committees.
