Intelligence report calls for ‘special arrangements’ to control crowd at Imran’s court appearance
The Special Branch has submitted a report regarding Imran Khan’s hearing in a special court on November 28 calling for special measures for crowd control, sources said on Sunday.
The report, submitted to police and district administration officials, has called for ‘strict’ security arrangements to be made for the hearing.
Special Branch has also alerted the administration to the possibility of a large number of lawyers and workers belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf descending on the hearing.
The report has advised the police to make special arrangements for dispersing the crowd.

After the Islamabad High Court annulled the jail trial in the cipher case, the special court’s hearing were held in the Judicial Complex in Islamabad.
The court issued orders for Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi to be produced in court in person on November 28.
If presented in court, the hearing would be Khan’s first appearance in court since his arrest August 5.
